ERISA lawyers

Here’s a post from Daily Lawyer Tips. Where do we start?

“For corporate associates doing deals, one of the hardest things about working with specialist attorneys is that they have a hard time thinking about the bigger picture beyond their specialty. So it’s always a little sad when you have to tell the ERISA guy that the client could not care less about the pension language he’s been fighting for tooth and nail in the merger agreement. But they get you back by inventing all kinds of complex and obscure issues that you then have to struggle to explain the client. So it’s kind of a fun give and take dynamic.”

Here’s one of my favorite songs when I think of things like this. (???)

Bob Seng

With plenty of experience in private practice and as an Assistant General Counsel for Pay & Benefits in a Fortune 50 Company, Bob understands that employee benefits law isn’t for everyone. That’s why he takes pride in listening carefully and responding with clear answers and advice that can be followed by busy clients.
